Turn your brand into an operating systemfor growth
I help founder-led businesses transform their brands from surface artifacts, to operable and compounding infrastructure for scale.
Are you serious about building your brand and scaling your business?
You have built a real business with traction, and you are willing to tackle structural gaps.
- Five or more years operating with R5m to R20m+ in revenue.
- Founder-led or founder-influenced, with a real team.
- Want clarity, sequence, documentation, and delegation built into the brand layer.
- Ready to make positioning decisions, not just commission new creative.
- Want to grow with ease. Tired of friction at every growth step.
You are looking for a quick fix, and you are not willing to make hard choices
- Pre-revenue, pre-product, or early-stage testing.
- You want a visual refresh without strategic commitment.
- You need it in sixty days. The work takes the time it takes.
- You're looking for an agency to outsource thinking to.
- The R200,000 investment doesn't match the stage of the business.
You see potential for growth, but no idea how to get there.
The business is moving. Revenue is growing. Team is expanding. But every attempt to grow causes more friction. Your website is stale and is hardly updated. Marketing burns budget without clear ROI. Content goes out haphazardly. Sales conversations take forever. No matter how much you delegate, everything still comes back to you.
It's not a marketing problem. It's not a design problem. It's a structural one. You are experiencing the brand gap. You haven't built the operating layer your business needs to scale without breaking.
Without the right alignment and systems, growth activities amplify noise, and destroy leverage.
The brand becomes the system the business runs on.
Not a refreshed logo. A complete operating layer that documents the strategy, automates the work, and gives the business the leverage to scale without friction.
Your strategy is a hypothesis. The system tests and refines it until it becomes a winning one.
The install ends at month six. The system keeps running, gathering signal, surfacing what works. Most engagements deliver a project. This one installs the engine and stays embedded through the retainer until the brand and the business find resonance.
Know exactly where the brand stands.
Every gap surfaced. Every opportunity mapped. Find out what is actually blocking growth, and how to fix it.
Map how the business actually makes money, and stress test the model
The model under the work. Revenue streams, value chain, where the leverage hides. The picture every other decision gets made against.
Sharpen your positioning and hone in on your audience.
Audience locked. Differentiation defined. What you stand for and what you're not.
A real strategy. Goals, metrics, and a plan to get there.
Not vibes. Not vague intent. A written strategy the business operates against. Direction the team can execute on without guessing.
All your communication in line with your brand and strategy.
Same voice everywhere. Positioning statement, value prop, key messages, tone rules. Stop rewriting the same paragraph for the tenth time.
The visual layer your team can actually use.
Logo, type, colour, application suite. Easily replicated and optimized for AI. Documented for agencies. Operationalized so the team uses it without breaking it.
A site that speaks to your audience as if you were in their heads.
Built on the new identity, anchored in the strategy, written to do the pre-work. Stop carrying the sales conversation alone.
Content that runs without you.
Editorial framework, channel playbooks, AI workflows configured to your voice. On-brand by default, at the pace AI makes possible.
Offers and pricing that turn attention into commerce.
Every offer earns its role. Pricing logic restructured. The commercial layer designed for the business, not improvised.
A funnel that compounds attention into pipeline.
From first touch to closed revenue. Designed end to end. Stop hoping marketing works. Know it does.
A brand system that's perpetually learning and perpetually improving.
Dashboards across every channel. Signal monitoring of audience and competitors. Feedback loops from clients. Intelligence from the wider marker. You see exactly what's working and what to fix next. The system stops being a snapshot and starts being a sensor.
This is what scaling with ease looks like. The system underneath is doing the work.
Most engagements leave a folder. This one leaves a system.
Two layers run in parallel. We build your brand system on the BXS BOS system, and build your own portal that stays operating after handover.
BXS BOS Workshop
The shared environment where every decision, draft, and artifact lives during the six months. Strategic sessions, async work, document development, review cycles. The single source of truth for the engagement.
Used by you, your team, and the BXS team. Updated weekly. Visible at every quality gate.
Client BOS Portal
Installed at month six. The persistent operational environment. Every decision, asset, and tool from the engagement consolidated and structured. Your team logs in and the brand keeps operating.
Not a folder. Not a doc. A system. Yours forever.
Work through the system in 6 months
Enough time to build each module properly and intentionally. Insights deepen as we keep at it.

4 Countries
Hosi's brand infrastructure rebuilt and deployed across four African markets as the business repositioned in enterprise cybersecurity.
3.2×
[DUMMY] Inbound qualified leads tripled within four months of the new positioning going live.
+18%
[DUMMY] Gross margin gain in year one after the commercial layer was rebuilt and offers restructured.
R33,333 a month. Six months. One apex engagement.
One engagement. One scope. Strategic direction from Oto across all six months. Identity, website, and commercial architecture delivered by the BXS team under direction. The Client BOS Portal installed at month six.
First month's invoice paid before kickoff. Subsequent months invoiced on the first, payable by the seventh.
Out of scope. Named explicitly.
- Ongoing design execution after handover. Your team or your designers operate within the brand guidelines from month six onward.
- Tweak requests and design iterations after handover. The install delivers the foundational system. Refinements after are separate work.
- Execution capacity for clients without an internal team. If you need it, the BXS execution team is available as a separate engagement with you directly.
- Day-to-day design or content production. The install builds the systems your team operates. Not a designer-on-call retainer.
This isn't a checkout. It's a fit conversation.
Apply
Reach out with a few sentences about your business: where it's at, where it's going, what you think the brand is missing. Not a long form. Enough for me to see whether the install fits.
Discovery Call
45 minutes with me directly. Not a sales call. We walk through the business, the brand, the inflection point, the fit. If the install isn't right, I'll say so and point you to the right path.
Proposal & Kickoff
Within five business days. Restated scope, pricing, start date, slot availability. Deposit paid before kickoff. Workspace prepared. The six months begin.
The words come from the people doing the work.
Oto sees the commercial layer underneath a brand faster than anyone I know. He'll surface the structure of your business in one conversation and show you what's been hiding in plain sight.
[REAL: Khotso Mahopo]
Founder · Redlife
Before we worked with BXS, our positioning was inherited from a decade ago. After, we had language our sales team could actually use across four countries. The rebrand wasn't cosmetic. It was structural.

Hosi Technologies
[DUMMY] The Brand Operating System gave me language I'd been searching for for years. I run the modules myself and the output reads like a strategist sat with me for a week. The clarity it produces is the whole point.
[DUMMY: Platform User]
Founder · Boutique agency
[DUMMY] We'd worked with two agencies before BXS. Both delivered files. Oto delivered a system. Six months in, the team operates the brand without me sitting on every decision. That's the difference.
[DUMMY: Install Client]
Founder · Professional services
The school grew from 340 students to over 600 during the years we worked with BXS. The brand became the spine. Marketing, admissions, hiring, parent comms, all running off the same system. Nothing was off-message because nothing had to be reinvented.
[REAL: SGEG Leadership]
Saving Grace Education Group
[DUMMY] The retainer is what surprised me. The install built the system. The retainer is where the strategy keeps adjusting as the business moves. That's the part most agencies can't do because they don't have the system to adjust against.

The questions buyers ask before applying.
Why six months and not three or twelve?
Three is too short. The work needs the time, and rushing it produces installs that don't hold. Twelve is too long. The install builds the system; the retainer operates it. Six months is the right shape for the strategic install to lock without becoming an open-ended engagement.
What if my team is small?
The install works as long as someone is the decision-maker and someone can carry the work forward. If you don't have an internal designer or web team, the BXS execution team can be engaged separately after handover. The install builds the system. Someone has to operate it.
What's the role of the BXS team versus Oto?
Oto leads the strategy, the design system architecture, and every weekly session. The BXS team executes the foundational identity and website work under his direction. After handover, Oto remains available through the retainer; execution work moves to your team or to the BXS team as a separate engagement.
What comes after month six?
The Brand Partner Retainer. R12,000 to R18,000 per month depending on scope. Strategic direction, intelligence briefs, decision support, quarterly system updates, annual brand audit. Opt-in. Cancellable monthly. The retainer is where resonance is found.
How does this compare to hiring a CMO or fractional brand director?
A CMO operates a marketing function. A fractional brand director carries strategy into ongoing work. Neither installs a structural operating system. The install builds the spine. After it's in place, a CMO or brand director can operate against it. Without the spine, they're often rebuilding from a vague brief.
What if I need to pause mid-engagement?
The work pauses where it pauses. Up to thirty days, no penalty. Longer than that, we reset the schedule together. The install doesn't bulldoze through life. Crises, leadership transitions, board moments happen. The system accommodates them when surfaced honestly.
Install the system. Scale with ease.
R200,000 across six months. The methodology. The system. The operating layer your business has been ready for.
Five active engagements at a time. The next slot opens at the next handover. Questions before applying? oto@basexstudio.com
